Established with the original name of Xuan Thuy Transportation Service & Construction Consortium in 1984, the company officially operated under the model of a corporation with the new name of Nam Cuong Corporation Co., Ltd on December 20, 2007. In August 2009, it was renamed to Nam Cuong Hanoi Corporation Joint Stock Company in accordance with registration certificate No. 0702001435 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Nam Dinh Province, based in Lot 24 Dong A Street, Hoa Vuong Urban Area, Nam Dinh City.
